Facebook has launched a new tool to help sort out who among your friends and the public at-large are seeing your posts on the social network.
The Privacy Checkup tool began rolling out on Thursday to the more than 1.2 billion people who use the network. It's designed to be a clearinghouse where you can understand your current privacy settings and change them if need be.
The tool walks you through three privacy focal points. There's your sharing settings -- the "Friends" or "Public" notice that is attached to posts -- as well as a list of which apps are connected to Facebook and who can see posts from those apps, and an option to review the privacy status of your profile information.
